Your Facebook account will be deactivated. You will still be able to log in and reactivate your account at any time.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind when deactivating your Facebook account:

  • You will lose access to all of your Facebook data, including your posts, photos, messages, and friends.
  • If you have any Facebook apps installed on your phone or computer, they will no longer work.
  • You will need to create a new account if you want to use Facebook again in the future.

If you are not sure whether you want to deactivate your Facebook account permanently, you can choose to suspend your account instead. This will hide your profile from other people and prevent you from using Facebook, but your data will still be saved. You can reactivate your suspended account at any time.

To suspend your Facebook account, follow the same steps as above, but instead of clicking Deactivate account, click Suspend account.
